As an accomplished leader with demonstrated success in the global sales and product development of medical devices, Steve’s ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities has proven to be a valuable asset.

Steve is known for delivering innovative products and solutions to medical challenges, and his most recent work is patent-pending. He has worked closely with world-class physicians and completed studies with leading medical centers. Steve remains passionate about healthcare technology that can create a significant improvement in the lives of patients, their families, and the healthcare providers who serve them.

A highly experienced, award-winning executive with over 40 years in sales, marketing and management in the field of medical devices, including such firms as Olympus, MicroVasive and MediTech divisions of Boston Scientific, and for Synectics, a manufacturer and distributor of GI tract physiological testing systems, later sold to Medtronic. Mike was on the Given Imaging team introducing the PillCam for Capsule Endoscopy in the US, overseeing nationwide multi-center clinical trials, and training and managing the sales team. His professional/consultative approach has created many decades-long relationships with prestigious university-level professors of medicine, as well as community providers.

Mike has held a number of volunteer positions in his community. Volunteer activities have included the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Education and Scholarship committees, and the Institutional Advancement committee and the Finance Committee for La Reina High School, a private college preparatory, and the volunteer Mountain Bike Unit of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Mike was Educated in Biology at Santa Monica College and UCLA. He is married with two children and three grandchildren.

2. A Voice Activation Platform for the operating room, recognized by MDDI as one of the best products of the last three decades.
3. A revolutionary panoramic camera aiding in colonoscopy by detecting 30% more polyps and an AI-driven polyp detection system to ensure accurate cancerous lesion identification.
4. Pioneering the first endoluminal procedure that synchronizes video cameras, CT, and MRI for complex anatomical navigation.
5. He developed the best insufflation device, enhancing the safety of the Argon Beam Coagulator in laparoscopic procedures dominating the market.
6. Specialized camera system for complex surgical cases in third-world countries, earning recognition as runners-up in "The MIT Business Plan Competition for Social Entrepreneurship."
